Seven Minute sermon for Home Churches

He is Risen! This week we celebrate the resurrection, not just that of Jesus, but also the new life he gives to each of us. In our sermon this week, Pastor Adam asks, “Where are you experiencing resurrection?”

For other sermons in this series, check out our Vimeo channel or Facebook page. We’d love to hear from you! Share your thoughts, comments, and questions at office@opendoorlex.org.

Generous Community

Throughout 2025, Open Door Church will seek to live into our vision for being a generous community as we give generously of our time, our treasure, and our talents. During the second quarter of this year, we will be imagining together what it looks like to receive in generous community as God’s people.

Backpack Ministry

This program is primarily grant funded, the increase in grocery costs has made it more difficult for us to fill the backpacks each week. In an effort to restock our shelves and keep them full, we've put together a list of needed items and highlighted to each month that we can donate to offset the costs.

Please note: All items must be individually-packaged, peanut-free, pop-top cans, and microwavable. You can bring in any items at any time or just the highlighted items for each month.

Thank you for joining us in making sure that the children we serve don't go hungry! For more information, contact Jennifer Steinhofer at steinfam1234@aol.com or Christina at christina.embree@opendoorlex.org..
