Eastertide 2024

Our Eastertide Sermon Series (Easter to Pentecost) will follow the liturgy and we will be considering what it means to live out the resurrected life, new life in Christ, in our everyday lives. Our exploration of disciplines in the last series will continue.

Grow Together

It is with great joy that Plowshares BIC and Open Door Church in Lexington have merged together and become one church with many expressions in 2024. Open Door Church joined our BIC family a couple of years ago and we’ve been journeying together ever since. It became apparent over 2023 that as we have both grown, we have grown together. We are so excited to see where God leads us as one congregation into our communities and home churches. We invite you to pray for us as we set a bigger table and transition into this new expression of a worshipping, serving community of faith.

We’d love to see you! We’re located at 749 Addison Ave & Home Churches in and around Lexington.
