PARTNER IN PRAYER
PRAISE: Open Door Housing will break ground on May 31 with a celebration at 2 pm on the first of our affordable housing units; to God be the glory!
PRAISE: We have welcomed several new individuals into our Open Door family this year!
Pray for our staff and leadership as we seek the Lord for ways to live out our vision especially in the areas of college ministry, peace conference, and affordable housing with Open Door Housing, Inc.
Open Door will be sponsoring a college student (single mother) in cooperation with One Parent Scholar House; we are blessed by the opportunity to join with this mother in her collegiate and parental journey.
Pray for Hope for Congo, a ministry that began with members of Open Door and currently supports a home for widows and orphans in Congo. They are raising money to complete the medical clinic and you can learn more at https://www.hopeforcongoministries.org/.
Pray for our youth and young adults as we meet for Home Church and serve our community. Pray especially for Mission Day this summer scheduled for July 11.
Pray for our Home Churches as we intentionally reach into our local neighborhoods.
Pray for the NA groups that meet in our Community Center. We host an NA group every day of the week and we want to be a place of safety and hospitality. These folks are doing the hard work of recovery and sobriety and we want to support them, not only with a place to meet, but with a community of faith that is praying for them.
