Seven Minute sermon for Home Churches
Fear says,”Hide.”
Jesus says, “Come into the light.”
Fear says,”Protect yourself.”
Jesus says,”Trust me.”
Fear says, “If people knew the real you, they wouldn’t stay.” Jesus says, “I know the real you and I’m still here and always will be.”
Join Pastor Christina for this week’s Seven Minute Sermon as we read our letter from John this week (1 John 2:1-11). How does playing hide-and-seek keep us from making room for more love and less fear in our lives?

Letters from John
During our summer months, we will be reading the letters from John found in 1, 2, and 3 John. As we read, we will be considering how John’s words can help inform our 2026 Vision of Making Room; More Love, Less Fear. Each week we will consider how acts of radical hospitality and perfect love can combat the fear and isolation so many in our society face. We are excited to have you join us as we join John in this journey towards love.
